Recently, Beijing Duwei Technology announced that the RWC2500A Plus broadcast modulation analyzer has officially added the DRM30 test mode, fully aligning with the National Radio and Television Administration’s GY/T 423-2025 "Technical Specification for Medium and Short Wave Digital Sound Broadcasting." This provides integrated testing support for the R&D, production inspection, and station operation of DRM broadcast systems.
To meet the complex testing needs of DRM30 signal OFDM multi-carrier modulation, this new mode allows signal locking and multi-dimensional in-depth analysis by setting the center frequency and robustness mode: it can perform real-time spectrum monitoring, constellation diagrams, and MER/EVM modulation accuracy measurements, and also supports cross-analysis of quality distribution at sub-carrier and symbol levels. This helps engineers quickly distinguish between transmitter hardware faults and channel interference issues, greatly shortening troubleshooting cycles. At the same time, with built-in protocol decoding, once the signal is locked, it can automatically parse transmission parameters like bandwidth configuration, modulation type, and protection levels, allowing signal compliance verification without extra stream analysis equipment.
Relying on a 1ppb ultra-high-precision local oscillator and hardware coverage from 500 kHz to 30 MHz, the RWC2500A Plus can accurately capture subtle signal distortions, making it suitable for transmitter R&D tuning, production line consistency checks, long-term station stability monitoring, and more.
